Collections
Camilo José Cela's interest in collecting all sorts of everyday objects and curios is attested by the original collections preserved at the Foundation: bottles dedicated by important cultural personalities, such as Picasso and Hemingway, unusual obituaries, matchboxes or brass boxes, picture cards, lottery tickets, stamps, cigar bands, coins and much more. All of them help to better understand the author’s original universe that amazes so many people.
