Mission and goals

The mission of the Foundation is to promote the study of Camilo José Cela’s work and preserve his cultural, human and even anecdotal legacy by endeavouring to disseminate general knowledge of said work and legacy as well as many activities directed to cultural promotion.

To reach the above goals, the Foundation:

Will preserve CJC’s legacy; promote the knowledge, study and dissemination thereof.
Will develop its activities mainly in the territory of the Autonomous Community of Galicia.
Will be able to perform all kinds of activities related to culture in general, and to literature and art in particular.

The beneficiaries of the Foundation will be natural or legal persons interested in delving into the knowledge of Mr Cela’s life and work as well as the historical and cultural period in which he lived.
